Walking along the roadside, Kokou wasn't looking for trouble. The Rocket Associate was minding his own business, daydreaming about rare Pokemon. He had been hunting for a Lucario recently, and it was all he could think about lately. He was desperate to find the rare Fighting type Pokemon, but iunfortunately on this day, Kokou had business to take care of.

Ever since Kokou had a brawl with Cillian, he had been getting more notice as a Rocket Grunt. He started taking on more jobs, doing more dirt really. Where before all Kokou did was beat up people who owed Rocket money, now he was getting involved in different schemes to find people who could be in debt! It was a crazy circle, but Kokou wasn't surprised. He always knew that Rocket was backhanded, that was why he liked em. All in all Kokou was just happy to be getting some work done, and more than that he was happy to be making big bucks. He had lots of money now, he was a big shot baller around his friends now. Everything had changed for him back home in Sootopolis, but he  couldn't help to wonder how long it would last; ever since Kokou's mom died he couldn't help but wonder how long it would take something to die and fade away.

Now he was sulking as he walked down the road, Kokou's thoughts stuck on the past. He was walking to Fallorbor Town for the next job, but his mind couldn't be farther from his goal; and that was when a Pokemon jumped out at Kokou.
